ABOUT US
Our Institute is the oldest and largest ITI in Tamilnadu, it imparts vocational training for the maximum number of trainees among other ITIs. It has been functioning since 1st January 1969 to make the youths as skilled workers and products of the future workforce. It has been affiliated with the National Council of Vocational Training under DGET, New Delhi.

It is functioning under the control of the Department of Employment and Training, Government of Tamil Nadu. It aims to impart training into the age group between 14 and 40 years for men and women under Craftsmen Training Scheme for economically weak and downtrodden people. It is situated in the main hub of Ambattur Industrial Estate, Thiruvallur District. It helps to develop the technical skills for both men and women to meet out the industrial needs.
